5-A WHAAA!

All during the game, all I could think about was how the hell am I going to appoarch this problem. I knew Rebekah was going to cause some chaos and trouble in my life, but I had no idea it would be this much. I beagn to wonder if she was worth jeopardizing my career. But when i say her on the bus, and then when I held her in the trainers room, my doudts were automatically wiped away.

She was worth it. I knew this girl was worth it. Even though yeah she had her bagage, but Im a big man, I can carry that baggage for her. I was detremined to make her my official girlfriend.

The plane ride, I watched her. She stared out the window. She sat with the older group, with Ozzie, Drapes, and Malts. I could see the worry in her eyes. i knew she wasnt the same girl that she was back in highschool and college. i knew she wouldnt purposly do anything to hurt me or her family.

The plane ride was short. She drove her car, So i had to chase ger before she left.

"Val, not right now, my dad will see"
"you know what, I dont care"
"Well I do, I dont want him alreay madder then he is"
"Im sorry well Ill call you later"
"ok babe, I'll be at Hannah's so well you know"
I nodded "yes I understand"
"Ok Ill see you tommorrow" She said as she kissed my cheek and left.

But I had plans of my own. as I drove in my car, I was thinking how would word it. I was scared out of my mind. No on scared me more than this man here, well my dad, but her wasnt here so. But this mans scolling look just gave me the chills, and not how Rebekah gave me the chills, like Im going to shit my pants.

As I walked up the walk way to this house. My heart was pounding, and I my palms git all sweaty.

As I knocked on the dorr, I thought I still have enough time to run away. No No, if you truly want to make this right, you will over come your fear.

My POV

As I laid there in my bed. Val still hadnt called. I was getting worried. Val was usually a mna of his word, I was hoping he didnt do something stupid like I would do.

I just seem to go to sleep. So I did what I always do when I cant sleep. Eat. As I made my way down the huge stair case, I saw there was a light on. As I got closer I saw Jon sitting on a bar stool at the island in the kitchen, eating cookies and milk.

"well fancy meeting you here" he said.
"yeah I couldnt sleep"
"Did he not calll" he asked as he poured me a glass of milk.
'No, I feel like those girls you see, that are pathetic and wait by the phone, just waiting their boyfriend will cal"
"he laughed "no, Knowing Val, its fora good reason"
"so why are you down her" I asked
"Yeah, I couldnt sleep either"
"Why" i asked eating Hannah's delicious chocolate chip cookies.
"well Hannah, just told me that well I might be a dad"
My mouth dropped.
"Uh WHAAA"
"Thats what I said"
"Yeah she's two weeks late"
"well its just two weeks, so"
"yeah, she' taking a test tomorrow morning"
"well, wow, oh my god, she was drinking alot on New Years"
"yeah I thought too, but I guess she was drinking cokes, and Ice teas, and cranberry juice"
"wow, OH my God, I cant belive she didnt tell me"
"yeah were not proud of it, but things happen"
"wait i thought she was on the Pill"
"yeah she id, but she missed acouple of days so"
"Oh my god, so whats gonna happen if she is"
"well i guess no more partying and going to clubs, and we'll get married"
"wow, Oh my god, things are happening so fast"
"yeah tell me about It"
"so Wow" I said Holding my head, and my eyes practically bulgeing out of my head.

"yeah well so how are things with your dad"
I just gave him a look"
He winced "eww that bad" He said pouring another glass.
"No, well yeah, I just dont understand, I mean Val and I really like eachother, and I want to take things slow, I mean we havent even slept together"
He gave the look.
"You know I really didnt have to know that"
I laughed"Well, I mean Im a different person, cant my dad see that. I really Dont want to bring Val into all my drama. Frankly I really dont think Im worth all the trouble" I said as I ate my cookie

"Rebekah dont say that"
"why? its what I belive"
"yeah, But Val adores you, he would do anything for you, if that means dealing with you shit, then he'll do it"

I Just stared at the counter top.
"well all I know its late, and we have a long early practice, and we both need to get to bed" He said

"OH MY GODDDDD!" I heard Hannah yell from down the hall. I instantly brought back what Jon had told me. I got up and ran down the hall, having to stop my self or I would have past the room. I stared into the rom looking at Hannah and tears streaming down her face, as Jon held her. Hannah was holding the stick. I slowly walked over and grabbed it from her hand. And forsure, Hannah was pregnant>

"what are we going to do" Hannah manged to get out from her weeping.
"babe well were going to be adults about this" Jon said.
The phone wrang, Jon rushed to anwser it.

"Rebekah, i cant do this, Im only 23"
I was a little shook up myslef, but I had to be strong for Hannah.
"Hun, your gonna be strong, I know your are. this baby is going to have all the love in world. From everyone, from you, from Jon, me, and all the guys on the team as well"
"you think" she said wiping her eyes.
"I know, and I'll be here the whole time"
"Thank you"
"what kind of friend would I be, id I wasnt here for you"
"a terrible one"
we both smiled.
'Oh my god, Im going to get so fat"
I laughed. Same old Hannah.

As I drove to the Joe, I was in so much shock of all the past days. As I took my place on the bench. I still dint see Val. I was kinda getting worried.
As practice began I saw Val with his smile on his face. It made me happy. i was no longer worried.
He skated over to me.
"hey babe"
"Hey, what happened last night"
"that why I came over here. I went over to your house yesterday, and well I talked to your dad ans well..."
"Filppula, just because shes your girlfriend, doesnt mean you can skip out on practice" My dad said

I looked at Val he had this grin on his face "He said yes"
I Instantly got up and kissed Val the hardest I ever.

"that doesnt mean you get to kiss her either" My dad said in a laughing under tone.

As Val skated away, a smile crepted over my face. As I looked at my dad, as he winked at me, then began with his normal before practice lecture.

at that moment, I felt finally my dad approved of my actions. My dad was finally happy with me. I felt this huge wieght lifted off my chest, as I sat there staring at my Boyfriend who was so kind, and so compassionate towards me. Could I find a better person for me.
